    Dr. Lynne Patterson, Ph.D,  is the co-founder of Pro Mujer, one of the world’s
    top ranked  micro lending organizations. From 1996 to 2005, Lynne led Pro
    Mujer’s expansion efforts in Nicaragua, Peru, Mexico and Argentina. In
    addition, she opened the organization’s international headquarters in New York
    City in 1997.  CNN has honored her as a “Community Crusader” at the annual
    “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” ceremony.  

    The Guerrant Foundation supports Pro Mujer, and we are planning a trip to
    visit their programs in Nicaragua in 2014.  Lynne will be talking to us about the
    various services Pro Mujer offers women to help them succeed in business.
    These include small loans for business, education and housing. primary care
    health services, and life insurance.  She will also give us details about the
    Nicaragua experience.  We hope to see you there for this inspiring event.
